Nice HOF style collection!
Are you intentionally also doing it 'type' card style, so that you don't repeat any issues across your collection?
And if so, was it a big decision to go 51' Mays and 52' Mantle?

If only I were that organized!
Not any specific type of collector.. I more or less just go for stuff that I like, and exclude nothing based on "rules". The cards posted are an accumulation over the years, first pick up being the Aaron around 1999-2000. (though there has been a spurt over the past 12-16 mths)

Bill/Dan- thanks both... And Mr Mays will always be in my top 5 Dan.

I could never pick five favorites, but here are five cards I really like that haven't been scanned in a long time

And then the current "top 5" from my collection...

Sorry had to step into the bathroom and change my underwear real quick...lol...those are some awesome cards!

Unreal John!!! Especially that Delahanty. Nothing from the 1880s should be that clear.. Wow

John, those cards are the shiznit! That Gehrig is the next card I'll be working on after I have purchased by Walter Johnson replacement. It won't be quite as clean, of course, but I can't wait to hold that beauty in my hands!

Seriously, you guys, I just love this thread. These cards knock me out!

Thanks John. They are three of my five favorite cards. I'm not a set collector at all, but the Aguilitas Segundas set is the one exception. I'm a Cuban card guy and the Aguilitas are my favorite. I'm going to have to keep plugging to upgrade my set. Best,

Kenny

Really like the stories by all. I miss the real card shows that we use to have here in the Kentucky area, circa 80's-early 90's. There were 4-5 50+ dealer shows a year. Too many stories to tell from those, but all good times.
