$100 or less. If you shop around you should be able to get a nice DiMaggio 3X5 pre-certified by PSA or JSA for less than $100.

The DiMaggio autograph is a fickle beast if you dont know what you are doing, because you have to deal with Sister signed, clubhouse signed, secretarial signed as well as forgeries. However, the bigger authenticators know what to look for so you will be ok if you stick to PSA or JSA.

I would only get a joe d. auto that has been authenticated from PSA or JSA...stay away from GAI (yikes). if it was signed in the 80's in an index card i think you should expect to pay $100 - $125 but no higher...if the signature isn't authenticated no more than $75.

If you buy the autograph from a knowledgable, experienced dealer you don't need 3rd party authentication on it.
