Default Thanx

Hi Leon,,, thanks very much for posting these CCB's fascinating artifacts from our hobbys history.....You may have mentioned it and I missed it but are these original bulletins you have or copies? If they are originals I bet their monetary value is pretty high....do you have a complete run? What was the last date of the CCB? Just curious. Thanks for the great job you do. I like many here appreciate it, just don't say it enough. dave

Default Hi Dave

Hi Dave
The CCB's are original. I paid on average around $45 each for the 22-25 of them which I have. They might go for a bit more in a well publicized auction. I only have a small sampling of the complete run, which started in 1937, two years before the first catalog was put out. My small, incomplete run, goes from about 1942-1948. I believe there were approx 4-6 issues put out, per year, until approx. early 1981. And last but not least, you are welcome. best regards

A few weeks ago we had a discussion on the memorabilia side about the 1859 Excelsiors- Knickerbockers reprint photgraph. Well, there is one for sale in this issue. So we know that they are older than the 1940's.
