Default JuJuDrums- the rarely talked about issue.

WHy is it you never hear of these. I like them and cannot recall if I ever owned one. If I did it would of had to been over 15 yrs ago....cause I cant remember back that far. I was email chatting with Brian Goldner and he goes by JuJuDrum. Though that it would be a nice topic. Thanks.

ANyone?

and have a limited popularity like the other round cards; Colgans (3 types). My first and only JuJu Drum came while I was type collecting ALL tobacco and baseball issues mid 1990's. The player was irrelevant to me then. He was a "common" player and actually had been to bat like 4 times in his major league career. I remember there was a JuJu Drum container found once and never heard of another. It held round gum chips I believe. More in the know here than I will hopefully check in to help you more.

Extremely tough, especially in contrast to most of the "hot" E cards of the moment.

Mine is an oddball, that was never corrected:
Bush - Detroit, NL.

Also, this card is a full body action shot; which according to Lipset
is but a few in the set.

In spite of my handle, there are a few other Board Members
who are far better qualified then i, to offer insight with regard to JuJu Drums.

Years ago, i think that i had a couple of them, and if my memory serves me correctly, one of them was Pelty. It seems that i might have also had Harnion(sp), but i'm not certain about that.

In any case, as Dan mentioned, JuJu's aren't seen too often, which adds to their intrigue.

Steve and Mark-- great cards, thank you for sharing.

If one might come across a few, what kind of premium could I expect to pay for them. Condition is a factor but say VG- VG/EX range..

Thanks

There's a Rowan on ebay right now. Two pin holes, a little back damage, and some scrapes around the edges. It's over $200 with a day to go, so I'd guess that'd make a vg about $5-600 or so.

I've been offered over $400 for mine and turned it down.
