The card for sale is a one of a kind 1933 Goudey Patent Card.

This card is the final version of the 1933 Goudey Paul Richards card printed in 1933. This card was sent to the U.S. patent office where it was held for an undisclosed amount of time. After the patent expired this card was released (probably back to the Goudey company) A few of them have now appeared. I have posted scans. It can been seen that the patent office stamped the Richards card with the date of Oct 2, 1933.

Looks like one collector has a bunch of these...there may be only a few available as it looks like this one collector is getting all the type's of these known Patent, copyright cards. Rare cards my friend...
