Default The Wierd World of Baseball

Posted By: Joe D.

I purchased this box full of unopened packs when I was a kid.

The box was probably 7 or 8 years old when I purchased it.
It is now 31 years old (Copyright 1976 - Funky Sales Corp).

Does anyone remember these?

The Wierd World of Baseball.

Some interesting trivia question/answers on each card.

Looking at the box and some of the unopened packs - some of the questions are....
--What Hall of Fame pitcher started his career as a Kansas Bloomer Girl?
--Who stole 1st base from 2nd base?
--What team lost a triple header?
--What home run record is held by Babe Ruth's cousin?

I am tempted to rip open the packs.

Very interesting questions. I don't remember those cards. Kind of funny that the product misspells "weird".

Looks like a pun from the manufacturer, it's a Weird spelling of Wierd.

Or it's an error box.

I'm sure everyone knows this already but Germany Schaefer is the one that stole 1st base from 2nd in order to set up a double steal.
