Default The third perspective

Some collect fronts, some collect backs, but I may be the only T206 collector who collects sides. They are simply fascinating.

Default rare backs

It does seem surprising that all the rare backs would we purchased at those ebay asking prices. Several of those cards are fresh out of National auctions with asking prices significantly higher then what they were just sold for which suggest a newer buyer that doesn't follow all the auction houses. An interesting point here is that just a few months back there was a post in the bst trade for a Cassidy with a Broad Leaf 350 back in a PSA 5. It looked fantastic and if anything undergraded for a 5. No one responded and the seller bumped it a few times . Ultimately I bought the card for just over 2k and some trade material. It was graded long ago so I sent it back to PSA who actually gave it a half grade bump. I felt I was paying up but not compared to this mass purchase on ebay. It only takes one person with the funds and a hair trigger to snag a bunch of great cards regardless of the price

The market is not quite as thin for Goudey cards.

A new "angle" to collecting the monster. How many different sides are there?
