Default Stupid ebay listings...do they work?

Posted By: Dave F

Quite often now I'll see a low grade T206 or a E91 SGC 10 or something in the 1980's, 70's, etc sections on ebay. It amazes me sometimes it seems these cards in the wrong sections like that seem to sell for quite a bit more than they would in the correct pre-1930 sections. Has anyone purposely put a card in one of these wrong sections? Just curiuos if the thought would be the collectors would in fact bid a big higher for an "old" card they know nothing about?

Interesting approach. I have a 1937 Paul and Lloyd Waner newspaper article in B/S/T that I'm about to list. We'll see what happens.
