Default 1883 Home Run Cigar Box

Has anyone come across an original of these? The one below has a full 1883 tax stamp, as well as the outer side label. I know REA sold a different style 1905 box about 8 years ago, and I've seen one or two of the "proof" inner labels for sale:

It's a "sample" label, not a cigar box.

I don't know what "sample" means...

Thanks for the responses guys.

Kevin - I collect them off and on. I was presented with the opportunity to purchase the box above (it's wasn't cheap), but it was a bit out of my wheelhouse. I tried to do as much research as possible, including looking at some of the sample label prices, before purchasing.

I had one of the labels once. I purchased it at the paper show in Hartford several years ago, and I traded it at the Wilmington MA show last year. My example was not in great shape. I believe I bought it for around 150 and traded it for around the same.
