Default Future for Psa?

ok, so they finally got into the 21rst century and are offering pack grading and now 1/2 grades. after the intial rush of regrades, what can be the long term business plan for them? their overhead is enormous and the pre war card market gets smaller every year. Beckett seems to have a niche for modern, at what point does the business go flat?

I heard a rumor they will do .25 grades when the .5 grades run out of resubmissions. I hear there will be even more deals given then too....after that I think I heard they will go to .1 grades....and so on. It's fairly limitless......regards

We all know that any business needs to evolve into the "Tomorrow" Question. So lets assume that a new niche needs to be found 2-5 years from now when this .5 Grade thing seems to slow down. Well, from what i see, PSA is doing a very good job of just sitting back and watching What & How the industry is developing into. If we look back at what they have done so far, seems to me that it hasn't been much! This has been their biggest move to date, and it will produce big $$$. Also, possible(i believe definite!) new avenues will show up before this time frame is over. Which means that, it really will take care of itself. Making "No" decision (Just as in their past!), is a decision! Actually, it has paid off for them quite well.
There aren't many major Companies that ride a BBB grade of "D" that can do what they do! It is truly amazing what they have done & are doing! i certainly Applaud them for their crafty craftmanship of doing nothin' and never miss a bank deposit day
i've heard some say that they won't last cause of their ethics, or customer relations or ??? Well, they seem to know just how to do nothin' well. And when it comes time to do whats necessary to keep the Crowds Comin' Back, They Did it!

"Wow", What a plan!

Life's Grand,
Denny Walsh

Denny,

Not sure if you are the one to comment on ethics.

I've been an ebay user for 10 years, one of my 3 bad experiences had been with one of your auctions. I'll email you.

Ps i don't just want to leave it as it is. i do have a warm conscience! Even though it's been some time now & i've never heard his side about why he's troubled(Andy did email me) i am willing to listen & see what i can do(if anything) to make it right by him!

Denny,
I've never yet had any dealings with you but I appreciate the good cheer you bring to the board. I like your sign-off advocating "Life's grand" (never hurts to be reminded) and always got a kick out of "See you rounding third". Andy, on the other hand, earns zero mensch points for sandbagging you on this thread.

Life is grand.

David McD.
