Default 1957 Topps Mantle Error?

Anyone see this error before?
This is the first I'd heard of it. Line messed up and apparently was missing some stats between 3B and HR until someone wrote them in.

Also looks like the print die was offset on the ball surrounding the #95

Without seeing the card in hand ... I'll bet this was pasted into a scrapbook, someone soaked it, the paper partial came off, and the cardboard that was partially off did not get pressed perfectly back.

The small spec of paper loss makes me suspicious as doe steh discoloration around teh 95.

Cheers,
Patrick
