Default Complete sets for the National.

Posted By: Marty

As many of us are getting ready to head out to the National, I would like to take this opportunity to give you a preview of some sets that I will have on display in my booth 1312. The majority of the cards listed in these sets are cards that I personally sent in for grading. I do not believe that I have ever offered any of these cards for sale previously, so these sets are fresh to the hobby. I know that they are not for everybody and just a portion of my total offering.

I will be loading up my vehicle Thursday evening for the long drive to Cleveland. Thank you for looking.

1934 Gold Medal Flour SGC graded $1,700.00
1935 Rice Stix PSA graded $4,000.00
1951 Connie Mack Book PSA graded $7,250.00
1952 Num Num PSA graded SOLD
1961 Peter’s Meats PSA graded $3,300.00

1934 Gold Medal Flour
This is a solid set. 11 of the 12 cards are graded 60 or better.

Bridges 60 (5)
Cochrane 60 (5)
Dizzy Dean 60 (5)
Paul Dean 60 (5)
Frisch 70 (5.5)
Goslin 80 (6)
Hallahan 60 (5)
Marberry 60 (5)
Martin 60 (5)
Medwick 40 (3)
Rogell 60 (5)
White 80 (6)

1935 Rice Stix
I am offering a compete set, both cards, graded PSA 5 with sequential cert numbers.

1951 Connie Mack Book
Another complete set of four cards. As you can see below, this is high grade for the issue.

Name Grade Pop Pop higher
Connie Mack 5 2 0
Christy Mathewson 7 1 0
Babe Ruth 5 2 2
Rube Waddell 5 1 0

1952 Num Num
All of the cards are PSA graded with tabs except the Kennedy card, PSA graded-no tab. I do not know of anyone that has seen a Kennedy with a tab. The Kennedy card that is included in this set is still the highest graded by PSA. It is a PSA 5, one of one with none higher. The number one card is the only 1952 Num Num card to be graded PSA 9. A full half of the cards in this set have none graded higher. I have been acquiring these cards for several years. PSA has only graded 91 cards from this set with tabs, and I currently own 50 of them, so finding another complete set will be a major on taking. This is the best of each card that I have. I have two cards without tabs that have higher grades than what I have with tabs, so I will include them; listed at the bottom.

Card # Name PSA
1 Lou Brissie 9
2 Jim Hegan 6
3 Birdie Tebbetts5
4 Bob Lemon 6
5 Bob Feller 5
6 Early Wynn 6
7 Mike Garcia 6
8 Steve Gromek 6
9 Bob Chakales 7
10 Al Rosen 3
11 Dick Rozek 8
12 Luke Easter 6
13 Ray Boone 6
14 Bob Avila 5
15 Dale Mitchell 6
16 Bob Kennedy (no tab)5
17 Harry Simpson 8
18 Lary Doby 6
19 Sam Jones 7
20 Al Lopez 6
3 Birdie Tebbetts (no tab)6
10 Al Rosen (no tab) 7

1961 Peters Meats Twins
I have this set on the PSA Registry. There are many 1 of 1 cards with none higher, including the only PSA 10. More than half of this set is graded with none higher. This set is viewable at this link

<a href="http://www.psacard.com/set_registry/display_cards.chtml?rsetid=75796&alltime=yes&rank=1&tied=0&requesttimeout=9999</a" target="_new" rel="nofollow">http://www.psacard.com/set_registry/display_cards.chtml?rsetid=75796&alltime=yes&rank=1&tied=0&requesttimeout=9999</a>

As I was packing up, I saw 1962 and 1963 Bell Brand Dodgers, Chemstrand, two Remar sets and a complete Lake to Lake set.

Thank you.
