How can you go wrong with any early Jeter auto? That card is a very common card though and I think the auto was obtained at a show as the factory didnt get done as a promo did they?

I tend to stick to factory issued auto cards which are harder to replicate or forge. Most factory autographed cards have promo backs as well. One of the Best investment Jeter auto cards IMO is the Little Sun Auto card population 250. Not to mention, there are other Little Sun cards to collect as well and the Pop is under 3k.

I actually own two of Jeter's "1992 Little Sun Uncut Sheet."

Very few remain uncut.

Very nice. I have 2 of the Little Sun autographed Jeter cards, and 2 unopened sets still.

I dont have the guts to open up my hoard of sealed sets to see if any Jeter Autos are in there. I just like to buy the sealed sets, and forget about them.

Jay, that is a really cool photo. At one time, I owned ten of those sealed sets.

Awesome.

Thanks Tony and Chris. What I didnt show, are all the other sets that I havent hit on.. lol I also have Andrue Jones, Sammy Sosa, Mark McGuire, Craig Jeffries, etc.... I bet the market might be soft on Jeter cards down there in Florida, unless the Marlins win. He has completely changed the look of that team in months. Only time will tell. No doubt Jeter will be a first ballot HOFer and equally as impressive as Chipper by playing for only one team for his entire career.

So, where does Jeter rank to all time Yankee captains?
