Isn't it great when you have well-priced (for you, the buyer) cards saved on your watch list, and then ebay offers the 15% discount and you get them at a steal? Love it!!

Nice cards, SFMS!

Anytime the 15% off coupon or other deals come up, I can never seem to capitalize on them.
I've either spent my money just a few days prior or none of the cards that I need are available at the time.

BINs are usually too expensive for me even with the 15% off so I rarely even bother looking anymore.

Good luck with the other 23. I am looking forward to seeing you complete your set.

Thank you Irv.....the last 23 may take 2-3 years, please stay tuned! I have gotten lucky with the 15 % off coupons coming out and there being worthwhile product available. As the number I need grows smaller for this set, the tougher it will be to capitalize on these coupons.

Default 61 Santo

Adding to the HOF Rookie collection. Ron arrived just in time to watch the Cubs have a very "Cubs" exit from the post season.

Finished off my 1948 Bowman set. Graded Authentic (maybe the trim)? Used the 15% off on eBay and got a great deal.

Thanks, SFMS. I spotted it on ebay unlisted as a Yellow Tiger but it didn't take others long to also see it.

I ended up winning it on my last, wasn't going any higher bid.
Definitely glad to have it in my collection!

I still may upgrade my Eddie Murray RC, but at least for now these two pickups just completed my 1978 Topps set.

40th anniversary of the first set I collected as a kid.

Upgraded to replace my other one that is quite a bit miscut, as many seem to be from this set.

Jason,

Is that a 70 or 71? I've found the 71's to be a little tougher than the 70's. Just curious anyway.

Nice, I really liked putting that set together. It was fun finding new additions at local shows around here. I'm not done with the 71 set yet though. Nice pickup man.

My 1957 Kaline was very badly miscut, so I finally pulled the trigger on an upgrade. If it presents as well in hand as on eBay I will feel great about the purchase.

It's no huge pickup or anything, but I took a gamble on this high number 1972 Cey RC (because the scan in the listing - wrongly - seemed to show a PSA 8 with rounded corners) and really got it for a steal...

An unplanned, but welcome pickup for my '70 Topps endeavor. I've always loved this photo. Was a great deal for the price once I saw it in hand, would probably grade out between 5 and 6.

Anyway, I'm happy with it and big props to Brian as the card arrived today and I had not even mailed the check...you'd better believe I beat a path to the post office when it arrived. That's just outstanding service!
