Default 1965 Tallboys -Dallas Cowboys Style

Ever wonder what it would have been like if Topps would have been making cards for the NFL and not just the AFL in the 60’s? That notion was the driving force behind this set of custom Dallas Cowboys cards. These custom cards are designed in the classic style of the 1965 Topps ‘Tallboys’.

Cards in this set include; George Andrie, Lee Roy Jordan, Bob Lilly, Dave Manders, Ralph Neely, Pettis Norman, Don Perkins, Jethro Pugh, Dan Reeves, Mel Renfro, Jerry Rhome, and JD Smith. Seven of these cards would have been rookie cards!

I've been making custom Cowboys cards for a few months now, and thought I'd share how they've turned out. These are real 25pt cardboard cards.

...and here's how the backs look...
