Default Polar Bear Pouch sold

Posted By: Richard Dwyer

Wow! $350 for a pouch that doesn't have a date. (Date is missing from tax stamp) I haven't seen a Polar Bear pouch on eBay for quite awhile, and not surprised that it went for that much.

Default Polar Bear Pouch sold

I have one of those somewhere.

As a kid - I only collected the Polar Bear backed T206s.

My parents saw that pack at an antique show and picked it up for me. It was unopened.

Of course, not knowing if there was a card in there... the temptation killed me - and before long - - I ripped it open.
No card. Just tobacco.

I believe the "P. Lorillard Company Successors" language dates this pack to post-ATC breakup, hence post-1911.
