If the card looks like the scan in this thread, the card is fake. Gum Inc. produces a professional grade product.

If you wish to see a real 1940 Playball Jackson, look at the one in Vintage Card Prices.

The scan is pretty fuzzy. It's a bit difficult to tell from this scan. I'd ask the seller for a hi resolution scan of the card. There could be a bargain awaiting you.

I doubt it is the scan. If you look at the type, it's pretty clear. No real fuzziness to it. The picture part of it is very, very fuzzy. If it was a bad scan, both of these should be equally fuzzy.
