Grover Cleveland Alexander was named after President Grover Cleveland. Name two other baseball Hall of Famers who were named after U.S. Presidents.

I guess I have to amend my question. To qualify, you have to be named after a president AND have at least two names that are the same as that president's.

Pierre Elliot Trudeau

Oops. Wrong country. Well, it has at least one name the same as a former moderator of Net54. And Pierre's father used to own the Montreal Royals from the 1920s I believe

There are 18 players named after George Washington:

http://www.baseball-reference.com/player_search.cgi?search=washington

Eight named after Thomas Jefferson:

http://www.baseball-reference.com/player_search.cgi?search=jefferson&Search+for+Player.x=28&Search+for+Player.y=12

And three named after Abraham Lincoln:

http://www.baseball-reference.com/player_search.cgi?search=lincoln&Search+for+Player.x=22&Search+for+Player.y=6

There are probably lots of others, but I think my boss would prefer I actually do some work instead of web-surfing Baseball-Reference.com!

My favorite, however, is: Calvin Coolidge Julius Caesar Tuskahoma McLish

Think he referred to #16 making honorary Caligula of the Pussycat Lounge of the old Combat Zone in the late 60's.

I'm not sure if Keeler was really named after William Henry Harrison, but maybe. I didn't know about George Washington Wright.

The two I was thinking of are Benjamin Harrison Taylor and Ulysses Grant (better known as Frank Grant), both elected from the pre-Negro Leagues this year.

How about newly elected HOFer Ulysses Grant, also known as Frank.
