Default A longshot, but......

is anyone seeing what I may be in this photo? No, I do not see Joe Jackson. Just cutting that out of the conversation before it even starts.

LOL. I have to admit I was not looking there, but that now adds to the value of the photo for me. I meant something above the waist, say in facial recognition.

What is the shadow of Thurman Munson doing in the left of the image? I've stick-drawn where the "ghost image" is. Your eyes may vary...

Tom,

When I picked up this cabinet today I thought the same thing. So, to a point I am in agreement with you, but I think it also resembles another New York pitcher (the other "New York" franchise) and a guy who pitched for the Pirates prior to New York.

The first name that came to my mind was "Dummy" Taylor.

I can assure you it's not WJ., Please tell who you think it is.

I have my guess, although it's in all likelyhood not him. His intials are J.C.

He must mean Jack Chesbro who pitched for Pitt and NY.

My first thought was also Jack Chesbro.

If it helps, I can only find two towns named Cortland, one in New York, and one in Ohio; so it appears that the photo was taken in Cortland, Ohio.
