Default 1990 Topps George Bush

Can anyone confirm that these have been found in wax, rack, or cello packs?

Default there

was a story in scd in 1990 that one did indeed find its way into a pack, however they are not supposed to be available from anywhere other than the former president

Yep, in 1990 one was pulled from a pack in the Chicago area. I knew the dealer who bought it from the lady who pulled it at the time. He would frequently set up at the Detroit area shows.

These kinds of things fascinate me. If one found it's way into a pack, wouldn't one think that at least a FEW of them did? You've got to wonder if there aren't a few sitting amongst commons around the country.

It is fascinating. There is always more than one, unless it is intentional. Makes me wonder if there's one in some collector's common box. It is an easy card for a casual collector to overlook. It kind of makes me want to buy a case from a Chicago collector.
