Default JULY Pickups

I RARELY buy packs, but was in Target today and grabbed a few Topps series 2.

Pulled a Kris Bryant RC...base card, but not a bad pull.

Got the card on the right from our local Peasant/Forum Owner Mr. Leon Luckey. It is the 5th card Beckett ever graded in testing before any cards where graded for the public. The 007 serial #ed card was bought from a former Beckett employee a few months ago.

I usually stay away from graded cards but had to make an exception for these two.

I recently bought a box of 1994 upper deck. The original purpose for buying this box was to maybe pull a mantle/griffey signature insert. After I received the box I realized the autographs were inserted into retail boxes, and my box was a hobby box. DOH. Anyways, I busted the box and it ended up being a really good box:

Two A. Rod rookies, a two cards from Jordan's midlife crisis of a baseball career. Back in 1994 this would have been about the best box ever, but A Rod has cooled off quite a bit and The Jordan insert card sells for $7.00 on comc.

Default HOF Pick-Up

Rookie cards are a big part of my collection. I thought I had RC's for each of this year's HOF Inductees. After looking through my cards, I realized that I did not have one for Pedro Martinez. I found a nice inexpensive one on EBay. It arrived today (Wed)... Card is not scratched, minor slab abrasions magnified by scan.

I now have rookie cards of all four 2015 Inductee's
