Default Non-Hand-Cut W Issues

Outside of Exhibits, other issues designated with a W in the ACC often bear the erroneous label of being hand cut strip cards and are therefore less desirable. What W issues were not issued as strip cards, but rather manufacturer cut?

W502 to start the list...

Default other W issues

I think the W554 were never hand cut. Very large size pieces that have the same consistent dimensions. SGC will numerically grade these. A big indication that they were factory cut.

As a point of information, SGC assigns numerical grades to hand-cut strip cards as well, so long as enough border is there on all 4 sides.

Default Non hand-cut 'W' cards

Some other non-hand cut 'W' sets:

W503

Have seen some W573 heavier stock (cardboard instead of paper) that might be machine cut

W575-2 (Autograph on Shoulder series)- some people think these are not hand-cut...unfortunately I have too many that were then possibly trimmed to be a good judge

Wasn't even thinking of those; of course we can add W601, W602 and W603 (and W711 for that matter) .
