Default 1972 Cards That Never Were, Orioles Version...

Okay, I tackled the 1972 Cardinals cards that never were, so I decided to take on another team that was woefully ignored in the 'In Action' subset by the fine folks at Topps, the Baltimore Orioles. Granted, Frank Robinson didn't play for the O's that year, but his regular card did picture him on that team, so I said what the heck.

Hope you enjoy 'em…

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.

Overpaying yesterday is simply underpaying tomorrow.

They'd never pass for real cards. They're not off-centered. ;-)

Nah, cool fantasy pieces.

The presence of the seemingly time traveling umpire from the 1800's kinda overwhelms Mr. Robinson in that one, so I thought he deserved something a little better.

Awesome! I was always bummed out about the lack of Orioles in this subset.
