Default Is this a Rittgers piece? Did they produce golfing figures?

Don't have it in hand, but it reminds me of the Rittgers figures. Anyone recognize it? Thanks!

No... similar, but different. All Rittgers (that I am aware of) have the name "Rittgers" stamped onto the figure in some inconspicuous spot. There were quite a few knock-offs at the time, and this looks to be one of the better ones. Cool piece, regardless!

Default Rittgers Advertisement 1947

Just came across this advertisement in a 1947 Sporting News mag... The pictures have a strong resemblance to rittgers figures, and the distributor also makes mention of other golf and hockey figures...

Anyhow, I though I would Share

Now those 3 ARE Rittgers. Interesting that they feature (what is now) the much rarer of the two Basebal Sets. Ya think if we send away to that address in the paper, that they'll still ship them to us?
