Hi-
The actual experts will be able to help much more than me, but you have an excellent, early (ca 1890s-1905) glove. The crescent pad makes it more valuable. I sold a similar glove for a friend for several hundred dollars (500 or so I think). However, please do not go by my thoughts alone as I am not an expert. If I saw your glove in an antique store for 200, I would buy it thinking I got an amazing deal. I hope you did!

Default Glove Experts - Help in Identifying

Nice crescent/web glove - if the condition was any better these can reach up to 1200.00, great find and as stated with some cleaning it should present well. Alan is right about the price and the years 1895-1905, but I think it maybe closer to 1905, mainly due to having the web. Earlier gloves presented more like a hand glove, which you can almost see except the thumb and web portion make it different.

Good that there's no ink... it should clean up well.

But if it's stinky, good luck removing the smell (I need tips on if and how this can be done)

I like to...

* Clean with Saddle Soap or Murphy's Oil Soap
* Condition with Vaseline

This method has yielded the best results for me, but you will probably get a variety of opinions on this.

Best of luck!
