Default Old Mini Louisville Slugger Bats

I saw three old mini Louisville Slugger bats at an antique shop today. One had the HOF logo on the barrel, one was red with something like "Knock ??? off???" on the barrel, and the last was just a plain bat, but had an old logo.

They are asking $45 each. Any idea?

I didn't get them. I actually thought about this site when I saw them. They are just a couple miles from my house.

$45 each sounds high to me. As a general rule of thumb, I've found that player-model mini bats are the most collectible.

Hi=
I agree with Rob. 45.00 each is very high, unless it is a rare mini bat. Just as Rob stated above, if they are mini bats endorsed by a player, they are more collectible. Some rare player bats can be more than 100.00, but 45.00 is too high for most of the player bats (unless it is a really old one). I think you did the right thing by passing on these as nonplayer bats go for less than 10.00 (unless they are really rare).
Yours in collecting,

Player model most valuable........14" minibats are toughest--pre 1930's(ish), Brown/Gold models very collectible. Not many non player models are very valuable except for World Series and all star bats.........
