1973 Topps Pinups
Obviously scarce and very expensive, but are they just scarce or are they also a highly desirable oddball issue?

I have a set but am not a big fan. The photos are not bad but the lack of logos is distracting. They are scarce rather than rare in my view, and I see a lot of them that seem to have never been folded around the gum for retail sales. I am not a big fan of the Comics from that year either but do have them too.

I have a friend who would kill for a Ryan comic if you have one that you don't really like.

As Bob says it is an odd set
Paul— Bob is likely tired of his Ryan comic by now. Last edited by ALR-bishop; 04-01-2018 at 06:30 PM. |

I have the McCovey, and certainly haven't seen many of them. As to desirability, there's been a Nolan Ryan on ebay with a very high price tag for virtually forever.
Best wishes, Larry |

I like the sister set Comics a lot more. I would like to get Seaver's from both at some point without being extorted.

I think the Seaver is ugly, not only did they remove logos, they changed the Mets blue.
