Default William F. Buckley Letter

buckley.jpg

My girl was going through her late father's things and found a few e-mail printouts from Noam Chomsky and this letter from William F. Buckley. A prodigious letter writer/e-mailer, her Dad graduated from Yale in the 40's and was a professor at Berkeley for many years. I'm pretty sure we'll find some other correspondences from noteworthy individuals, but in the meantime, I figured I'd post this one. Some people may be interested in seeing it.

BTW, neither of us has any idea what 'Bill' is referring to in this letter.

(The return address section in the lower left was cut out by her mother in a fit of paranoia. LOL.)

Edited to add: We also came across a letter from Melvin Belli. Those of you familiar with The Zodiac case will recognize his name. Sort of the west coast version of F. Lee Bailey. Plus letters from Senators Howard Baker and Alan Cranston.

Spelling "Yastrzemski" correctly without needing to look it up since the 1980s.
