At least the card pictured is authentic. there still always could be a fake made from the picture of an authentic card, but that is such a good scan that Im sure its the real deal.

For those of you that care, here is a comparison of a common type of T206 reprint (on eBay right now) and the card above. Notice the different caption style (font, color of ink, boldness and spacing of letters). Authentic T206 cards dont have a caption printed in black ink, it is more grayish in color.

I would think the card will look more black in person. The scanner most likely is what made it look more of a dark blue color. The front has a blue look to the black areas as well (ie. the black stripe around the picture.

Not sure myself, i tested both sides of the card with photoshop and the colors on the front match as black while the colors on the back come up a derivative of blue.

The shadow area around the card and the shadows in drawing looks blue-black to me as well. Do you have the card in person?

Nice card, definitely not fake. The back looks fine to me, I'm not seeing any blue shade to it. I'm sure it'll be the normal black print if/when you see it in person.

the color is bluish on the top one. I would think its all the scanner.

Obviously I don't own the card Ted, but after a while it becomes pretty simple to spot fake t206 and that one clearly isn't one. Frank said in his post he's sure it's the real deal, and I was agreeing with him.

I think the whole post started because it looks like the back is a blue Lenox. I would say it is black and only looks blue because of the scanner settings. Im sure it will be black in person. I never thought for a second it is a fake of any type. Who owns it anyways? Is it for sale?
