This is a guess, but could it be a whale shark? I think that is what they look like and they are huge like that.

Definitely a Whale Shark - they are the only ones that large that have such and involved skin pattern. Basking Sharks, which are also filter feeders, are the next largest but have a solid-colored skin.

...still looks very stinky
