Default How Many T206s Do You Own Today?

Just curious - what the current count is for Net54 members. I know Frank has his list, but how much of that is really a current reflection of the number of T206 cards in collections of today's membership?

I'm at 516 currently (not counting signed ones). Here's a quick snapshot of a few of them...

Is this total different fronts, or total including cards with the same front but different backs (or the same front and back)? I have 455 different fronts, but 530 total cards regardless of front-back combinations.

I only have 11. All ungraded. All commons, no HOFers. No Southern Leaguers. Only SC or Piedmont backs.

I pick them up in passing if they are nice looking and clean. I haven't added one in like 5 years but I do keep an eye open for Boston and Providence players.

Agreed, I have 3. Two because I got them as a kid, one because I have been too lazy to sell it.

MN is at 510. I have about 40 additional cards with different backs than in my main set. So 550ish.

I once owned about 32 T206's but I sold off 30 of them to help fund a few higher end cards. Right now, I own a Green Ty Cobb and a Cy Young Glove Shows.

1309 different front/back combos with no Piedmont or Sweet Caporals. Out of the 1309, I'm still 15 cards away from a 524 set. With the Piedmonts & Sweet Caporals maybe 1500+.

I've been collecting t206's for a couple of years. Presently I have 53, all graded by SGC or PSA, with only one graded below 5.
Its been fun.

In four days of polling, 43 people have said they own at least 500 T206 cards -- that's more than 20,000 cards accounted for right there. Amazing. Obviously there are a ton of these little cardboard beauties still in existence.

One of the great things about T206 is their prevalence. Ease of finding multiple examples, and not cost prohibitive. In this case, I believe the lack of scarcity overall drives demand. Pretty cool.

Zero for me. T206 were the 1987 Topps of their day. If I were to collect again I would go with Obaks.

If T206's were the 87 Topps then the Obaks were 1990 Donruss

I have approximately 50 or so. The reds set and a mix of hof's and somewhat scarce backs (tolstoi, epdg, AB). Don't have anything that nice though. Best card is probably a Matty black cap.

Would love to make it to 500 at some point.
