Default OT: Mantle DiMaggio Forgeries Read This Story Ebay Seller Running-Wolf-53

We, of course, see garbage like this every day on Ebay, but you have to check out the below set of Mickey Mantle, Joe DiMaggio and Ted Williams forgeries and the story attached to them from Ebay seller Running-Wolf-53.

These are laughable forgeries, but the story is even more ridiculous and simply a huge lie. It's amazing what these sellers of forgeries will write to sell their crap.

LOL. Obviously, he actually never met Dimaggio in person or he would realize how ridiculous the story is.

PLus I love how he says that he got them all in person, but they came with a COA. If he got them in person how could they have a COA. There were no auto cert companies back then.

The length of the story is inversely proportional to the likelihood the item is authentic.

Even the Field Of Dreams certificate looks forged , especially the McWilliam signature looks signed by a 10 year old .

Were you crying because of horrible the autos are or of how ridiculous the Joe D story is?

A little of both . Horrible autographs are one thing to laugh at , but the story of Joe D actually caring about someone but himself at a card show was hilarious .

What's with all the quotation marks too? "Such an honor." Is that a sarcastic way of saying it WASN'T an honor?

Difficult to believe, but Ebay removed the listing.

I wish they would do the same for the hundreds of "Florida" forgeries sold on Ebay every week.

Imagine watching this seller tell this story. I could picture every time he said DiMaggio's name he would put his fingers up and do the air quote sign.... sort of like every time he wrote the name.

Astounding, ebay actually might have cost themselves $12 by removing this crap. Is there a revolution going on in ebay now? . There might be a shareholders revolt.

They should also look at his Dan Marino items. I am not an expert on Marino, but have seen enough real ones to know they are laughable.
