Default POLL: Total population of all "known" Uzit T206's?

What would be your best guess as to the total number of "known" T206 Uzits currently? This guess should disregard any assumptions of shoeboxes in someone's attic for the past 70 years and only include the number of Uzits that are either for sale, or locked away in advanced collections. My best newbie guess would be somewhere in the 500-750 range. Whats YOUR estimate?

i think wonka is on the right track...<150. what's the difference between uzits hidden in shoeboxes...and uzits in advanced collections we may not know about?

Weren't Uzits released over a three-week period in NYC, or am I off my rocker?

t206 survey

out of 437,553 cards

Broad leaf 460-8 cards-1 in every 54,694

Drum- 29 cards-1 in every 15,088

Uzit- 63 cards 1 in every 6,945

Lenox-112 cards-no designation to brown or black 1 in every 3,907

Broad Leaf 350-160 cards 1 in every 2,735

Carolina Brights-368 cards 1 in every 1,189

the internet has added to this survey significantly, but just wanted to show where the set was in 2001

example-today there are just about 40 Broad Leaf 460 examples known

Jim, although those numbers are almost a decade old, they may still be useful as a chart of relativity. If none of those backs experienced a SERIOUS find, and all of them "grew" in population at a constant rate, we can then extrapolate the following numbers based on your current number of 40 known BL460's:

BL460--40
Drum---160
Uzit----320
Lenox--560
BL350--800
CB-----1,840

Again, this extrapolation ONLY works if all groups grew at relatively the same pace as the BL460s in the past 9 years. Thoughts?
