Default Please help Identify!!!

Hello,
I recently purchased a 200 page scrapbook that covered baseball from 1911 to 1922. The newspaper coverage was heavy into Ty Cobb and Joe Jackson. There was also a heavy concentration on the Federal league and up to Babe Ruth setting Home run records.
There is a 3"x5" real photo that looks like a barnstorming team. Some of the players look very familiar. This photo was in the 1913-1914 section that had a lot of Cobb and Jackson articles.
I am looking for the vast experience of the Net 54 experts to identify the players. Any help in performing this task would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Wally Richards

i'm not sure you're going to have much luck with that photo...not very clear? i don't recognize anyone in it...any chance you could post a bigger more detailed scan?

yup, bigger scan of just the players, especially faces and uniforms.
maybe adjust the contrast too if you can

also the scoreboard might help you ID the field/team

Thanks for the feedback. I know that it is not the best picture to work with. Being a small sepia photo, I was hoping that a black and white would show more contrast while being scanned. A little more information. There is no name on the uniforms.
It has been suggested that the player on the top row left may be Johnny Evers and the player in the front row second from the left may be Christy Mathewson. There have been a few guesses on the player on the far left front row. I will try to get a better scan.
Once again I am very grateful for all your help.

Wally

I can't see the picture well either but just from that little thumbnail, I'd say that's not Mathewson and don't see Evers either. But again, from that picture we see, it is impossible to tell.
