Default Should T206's have their own BST category?

A valued board member has suggested we take a look at breaking out the T206s on the BST pages to have their own BST section. Ya'll know my thoughts on changes but I would like to get a pulse and thoughts on the subject. thanks much....

I think this is a great idea. It would definitely help non-T206 BST threads get more "spotlight."

It seems to me there just isnt enough posts not being T206 related on the Tobacco Card BST to warrant a splitting of the two.

as much as i love looking at T206, i am not buying any..
this would give the others more time on the front page

non-issue IMO
but then again maybe bc I never open the T Section in the BST bc I assume that all of the posts are T206 related - so maybe there is merit

Separate forum is not open for discussion at this point.

My initial thoughts on the BST is to leave it as it is but a good discussion never hurts. At worst I get other thoughts and ideas and there is a chance it changes. What I wouldn't want is to make a separate section for the 206s and then have that section and the other T section suffer because of it. Crickets chirping is no way to have a nice forum.

Agreed. It's mostly t206's on there anyways, a simple search would suffice, imo, if one is seeeking other t-cards; no need for a new section.

I voted yes for a separate T206 BST, to me it just makes sense.

My only concern is, is that this thread category may dry up without T206 in it. Seems like the postwar section is a significantly slower than this section, without T206 wouldn't it end up like the postwar section?

No reason to clutter things up more than they are. I vote "stay as is".

Default Win-Win... BST ONLY

I see this as a win-win. The T206 collector's can have one place to focus on their needs and those that don't collect T206's will not have to sort through so many T206 listings to see other T related material. T206 is the 800 lb Silverback in the room and warrants its own section on BST.

Happy New Year All !

Definitely yes - the t cards that arent 206's, and yes those exist on here, could stay on the main page longer. It just seems like both factions would win here. Trial attempt? Im curious what the voting breaks down with t206 collectors versus non-collectors. The nons seems to be more in favor of a new t206 bst...
