Default My Kreindler Arrived

Good morning folks,

Thought I would share my excitement with the board, since this means a lot to me. Graig and I agreed on my purchasing this several months ago, and he worked with me in EVERY way possible, and we agreed on EVERYTHING!!! Well, when this finally arrived a few weeks ago, my excitement couldn't be contained, so I thought I would show everyone the steps of the final piece arriving at my house:

Picture 1 - Still in the FedEx package
Picture 2 - Peanuts abound
Picture 3 - It's in the smaller box inside]
Picture 4 - Packed well inside the box
Picture 5 - Getting closer, the back of the final picture
Picture 6 - The front revealed
Picture 7 - Matty in all his 1901 glory!!!
Picture 8 - Framed and ready to hang on my wall!!

Hope everyone enjoys, it is truly a major piece in my collection!! I assure you, the pictures I took DO NOT do this painting justice, when I took it to my framer, he told me he had NEVER seen anything like it, it was so amazingly lifelike.

Thanks again, Mr. Kreindler, I am in AWE!!!

Thanks,
Greg

No words to describe the painting. And the frame you picked, couldn't have been any more perfect. Wow......

Congrats Greg! Fantastic piece! I know the feeling. Mine came a little over a month ago and I can't get over how incredible it is. I can't say enough about Kreindler's work. As amazing as they look in the photos they look even soo much better in person like you said!

Great post Greg, what a choice of subject. Graig, I am out of words, so ditto to what everyone has said, and more.
Greg, your face is going to get sore from all that smiling....LOL

He did a great job painting the face, of course, but I can't get over the jersey, which shows depth and looks like you could touch it (the detail of the lacing, for instance). Outstanding.

Now that is a great piece of art. It seems like every time I pick a favorite a new favorite comes along.

That would be the centerpiece of any collection that's for sure.

Greg,
That Matty is just superb. Great choice of frame as well. Presents like an Old Master. How big is it?
Congrats.

Graig's prices are very reasonable considering the quality, but you would need to speak with him directly about what specific things you would like him to do. Size is usually the most important factor in determining cost.

Thank you for such kind words, everybody! It was an absolute joy to paint, and I really got off on the idea of him with the Norfolk Phenoms, rather than the Giants - it was just another one of those cool lesser-known visuals. And as y'all know, finding the color information for the ballclub was not an easy task.

I'm so thrilled that this Matty painting is in the hands of such a great collector, especially one with such a passion for the Christian Gentleman. I'm honored to have my work in his home.

Graig
