BEAUTIFUL piece, beautiful job restoring. I'd assume that set you back a penny or two but I think it was absolutely worth it.

I have to say that I was in the "don't restore" camp prior. This restoration is superb, and have to say "I was wrong".

I also was in the not restoration camp, but it does look so much better after the restoration. You definitely made the right choice.

Highly recommend The Art of Restoration in Chicago. Tommy Tomc is the man, great work, reasonably priced and fair to work with.
