Default St. Louis Scrapps Set Complete!

Hi All,
I wanted to share with you all that I have completed a lower condition Scrapps St. Louis set! It has taken me about 5 years (not actively pursuing all the time) and I just picked up the last one (Bushong) about a week ago.

I can certainly upgrade many of these cards over time but most of them had good eye appeal with minor back damage. I plan to eventually have the set framed around this great St. Louis woodcut that goes perfectly with it (excuse my poor photoshop skills).

The lower grade set is more affordable and I paid about $100-$150 for most cards with a few exceptions. Bushong was the toughest one to find.

Congratulations. Anytime you mention "19th Century " and "Complete" you have accomplished something. I may try the Detroit Scapps set some day.

Thanks buddy...that's the best pick up for me

And thanks everyone for the complements! It's a great set and hope that I can frame it up nicely with the woodcut.

Congrats on completing the St. Louis players George. Any desires to also collect the Detroit half?

Thanks everyone!

Joe, I have not considered building out the Detroit set yet. After picking up a few of the St. Louis Scrapps about 5 years ago, I decided to pursue that subset. They seemed more readily available then the Detroit Scrapps at the time. Given that I don't have any Detroit Scrapps, I don't think it's something I'm going to actively pursue although that could change
