Okay guys, we've all been talking about this so i just wanted to put it in place....this guy has really chapped someone's a$$ and i want to make sure it is handled appropriately.... rather than post details on the list..i would like to collect a group of bidders on these items and see if I can help mr. iceking understand the situation.... if you have not left feedback yet..i urge you to wait until after i talk with him..i don't take crap from other BS sellers and b/c i'm fully aware of what is legal and not legal on ebay i feel i would be best suited to contact this gentleman/persons....

Please post here if you have purchased from him and what you purchased and what the status is.... once again, i would refrain from posting feedback if at all possible. Also, if anyone on here knows what's up with the different print issue (script or block???> let me know..there is another v100 on ebay right now that looks very different.

Ted

Gentleman,
i have had a very pleasant conversation with AJ. I feel i am aware of both sides of the issues and am happy to offer my thoughts to anyone who is interested. I will not handle this on the board, and request that you either email me or feel free to call me on my cell phone at any time tonight.

Regards,
Black Sox Fan

Ted: I really do not want to go against the flow here, but I am not clear on what this seller has done wrong. The Williards auction which I won states "This group looks like they came from a single sheet and are cut with varying sizes. Overall the eye appeal is strong on this ultra rare card.... This is the first group from this set that I have ever seen."

The seller also offered a clear picture of the card. I do not feel that the card which I won was misrepresented.

Regareding his return policy: the time to take issue with that is prior to bidding, not after receiving the card.

Please clarify what the objections are, and what you hope to achieve.

Gil -
I believe this to be a matter that i will gladly discuss with anyone in private from here on. I have no interest in getting into details on the forum. I started this thread in light of certain opinions that were stated. Seeing as I purchased one of the more valuable cards, i also wanted to protect my investment. I think you know where i stand after our last communication, but feel free to discuss this we me in private.

I bought one, but don't see a reason to go after the seller. Sure, I beat myself up a little for not reading the description thoroughly, but that's my own fault, IMO.

I'm with Al and Gil. I didn't read the description fully. It was clear. It's my fault. End of story for me.

I won one lot. As far as I am concerned I rec'd exactly what was described and what I chose to bid on. No issue here as far as I can determine.
