It's so sad he's gone. I'm currently making an effort to lose weight and I've been listening to some STP songs while working out. R.I.P.

I was a big STP fan.Its sad he is gone.All those years of substance abuse caught up to him.

Was just coming here to post this if nobody had. Sad day for the music world. A very talented musician. I'd like to say I'm shocked because I am. Just not that surprised as it was only a matter of time. He couldn't kick the habit that devours almost everyone.

One of the truly GREAT rock voices of the last 30 years. Why do all the great singers have to be drug addicts? Really too bad, a terrible loss for all of us STP & VR fans.

Sad, one of my all time favorite voices/front-men. Right up there with Vedder and Layne etc... RIP. Glad I got to see STP live once (2001 Rolling Rock show in PA! awesome show check out on You-tube)
