Default Proposal for a new section

Seeing as new exciting topics can be really hard to come by these days relating to "vintage(pre-WW II) baseball cards...I propose a new section be added to this site. Let me know what y'all think.

Sex, Politics...and Religion.

Now that is funny Pete. The problem with discussing those subjects is it is like trying to talk common sense to those that post beat to heck cards that know they are worth Nr Mint prices or those that post crap home made cards and say they are rare prototypes. They have an opinion and it will not change no matter how stupid and wrong they are. Especially the last group on your list, it is bad enough that I occasionally get their crap in the mail along with my card(s).

Besides the name by your post rule being the best I would say banning those subjects is the second best rule.

Can we also get a section for people who don't like 707, yepbg, PWWC, Probstein etc. That way it can be sour grapes all day every day.

10 sections and no positive posts allowed.

1) Sex
2) Drugs
3) Politics
4) Racial Tensions
5) Fake cards on eBay
6) Horrible eBay sellers
7) Horrible card show dealers
8) Horrible Auction Houses
9) Opinions on grading companies
10) Religion

That forum would be very fun to read but can't imagine how horrible it would be to moderate.

Can we just do a poll: "How many of these 10 things do you enjoy?"

When I saw this title proposed by Pete, I was sure it was for a separate section just for T206.

I apologize for brining a serious question into this discussion ... but why isn't there a nonsports cards board?

I know there is a separate "net54" nonsports website ... but that site is so clunky I rarely ever bother going there (and trying posting a picture. good grief.).

If it is part of Net 54, why isn't it here?

I would think it would certainly get a lot more traffic if it was part of this site.

Cheers,
Patrick

I/we that run this board have no business ties or operational ties with that board. We left that old hosting/software site as we wanted a more up to date solution going forward. It is not easy to convert to a new forum. I am sure it is a "sh** to equity ratio" in Tom B's (hi Tom) mind.....(he runs that board.)

ps...For those that don't know, there is an icon on the upper right part of each of our pages to get there.

Pete - If all this is in response to my ill-fated political thread....

Let's not and say we did. I apologized already. Let's forget it.

-Although, segregating all the negative threads and posts might be worthwhile.

There is a site that already covers all those, (minus the e-bay/card stuff) and a lot more. It's called FreedomSledder (cap F and cap L .com) You have to register to join and even if you are not a snowmobiler, you will like it if you like to discuss those topics.
It's an "unmoderated" site, (consider yourself warned) so anything goes, trust me!

I can't wait to see the B/S/T section of the Sex section…

FT: PSA 8 1962 Topps Tim McCarver rookie card. Looking for a Russian bride. Will consider Ukrainians.

Would make the FBIs job just slightly easier. Cracking down on fake autographs/pimps. Best for everyone. I'm all for this idea.
