SportsCardLink Featured Auction Closes Tomorrow!!


The SportsCardLink Featured Auction Closes TODAY, January 17th, starting at 8:00 PM Eastern Time! The auction features important sports cards from the late 1880’s to the modern era, with a wide range of low, middle and high grade cards that will be sure to excite any sportscard collector. Of particular note is the inclusion of several spectacular high grade rarities of cards of Babe Ruth, Mickey Mantle, Lou Gehrig and Ted Williams! Auction lots close at least 30 seconds apart ("ebay-style", meaning there is no extended bidding), at the exact end times specified next to each individual lot on the SportsCardLink web site. The first lot closes at 8pm sharp. The winning bid for each lot will be the highest current bid received for the lot before that lot’s end time. The time left until the final close of each auction lot is counted down in real-time.
Among the Individual graded card highlights from this important auction are: a gorgeous 1933 Goudey Babe Ruth #144 card in PSA 7 NM, a spectacular “One-of-a-kind” 1934 World Wide Gum Lou Gehrig Portrait in SGC 92 NM/MT+, a fresh to the hobby 1951 Bowman Mickey Mantle rookie card in PSA 6 EX/MT, a superb example of the mythical 1954 Bowman Ted Williams card in PSA 8 NM/MT.
The auction also features a very strong selection of mid to high grade T206 White Border tobacco cards graded by PSA and SGC, including numerous examples in the PSA 5 to 7 range. There are also several lots of ungraded cards for collectors to begin or add to their sets, and numerous middle and higher end examples of 1950’s to 1970’s cards of superstars! Finally, we even are offering an amazing array of cards of Modern players from the 1990’s to 2000’s. These are primarily highly sought after “Insert” cards with special features.
