Default SOLD: 1954 Bowman Wax Pack Break, 7 Cards

Hey everyone! I'm new to the forum but a long time collector.

I recently purchased a 1954 Bowman Wax pack authenticated and sealed grade 7. A similar one recently sold for $5,400 on Goldin Auctions

There are 7 cards in the pack and I really want to open it and was wondering if anyone wanted to join in. I'm thinking $500-1,000 per slot but am open to offers. We could randomize and stream live (or do it in person in the Bay Area!).

Cool perk the pack is from the Al "Mr. Mint" Rosen collection! As we all know the 1954 Bowman set includes the super short print Ted Williams and Mickey Mantle!

Feel free to DM me or email me at frederickshepard@gmail.com if you're interested. Looking to do the break in the next month!

Cool idea. I had a lot of fun breaking a Christmas rack pack recently ... but this is definitely a higher end item and should generate some good interest and suspense.

Great pack, Frederick. This is tempting. Can you see who is on top or bottom?

Can’t see anything. Part of the thrill! A mint Mantle or Williams could be waiting!

F*ck it, I’m in. Price will dictate how many slots I take. Willing to buy 2, potentially.

Nice job on the opening Frederick, fun to watch. I was impressed with how clean and centered those cards were, just not used to seeing any 50's cards like that, unless you're Ted Z not many people have experienced opening a 54 pack.

This was the textbook way to do a break like this, nice job Frederick. Most of those cards looked like 9s!

That was fun. Crazy seeing a legit pack from that era opened. Makes you wish there was more surviving actual footage from all those 50's packs Rosen discovered in the 80's being opened.

Enjoyed watching the break. Those are some nice looking cards, the Mantle would have been an incredible pick up.
