Default BB movie...."Trouble with the Curve"....check it out

Clint Eastwood in his inimitable self, beautiful Amy Adams (plays Clint's daughter), John Goodman, and Justin Timberlake combine
to make this movie a HR......in my opinion.

It started this weekend in 3000+ theaters nationwide......DO ENJOY.

Saw it today, pretty good. I laughed when they're talking about the high school kid being a 5 tool player. When you see his body you'll know what I'm talking about.

The high school player was a "tool" alright.

I just like the couple of subtle connections to "Major League."

I found the whole movie disappointing if not laughable.

That line killed me also.. I'd hoped for a little more, but still love Clint.

Clint was great as usual.

Amy Adams was great - she's a beauty.

Still thought it could have been much better....

The problem with the movie is that it is what I call a "formula" movie. The bad guys have nothing but bad qualities, the scenes are paced to fill in the movie when needed and the ending is predictable. That said, I liked Clint Eastwood and I liked John Goodman, who both tried to make the best of a manufactured script.

Haven't seen the movie, but I am sure I will at some point. I did hear that 42 was one of the trailers though. Looks like it could be good.

Another 1.5-ish thumbs up. A little Disney-esque at times, but Clint + baseball + hot redhead = pretty good way to spend an afternoon. And +1 for the subtle tips of the hat to Major League

I thought the trailer for "42" was a bit disappointing myself. Having just finished a bio on Jackie, I think there's a whole lot of potential. I hope it blows away my modest expectations!

I would go but worried about sitting in an "empty" chair.

I'm glad Joshua made an empty chair comment so I wouldn't have to.

Default Clint Eastwood......

Hey guys,

Politics aside....there was not an "EMPTY CHAIR" in the theatre where we saw this movie here in Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvanians love Clint Eastwood
