Claude:

That's a really nice card for the issue. They are pretty tough to find and much more so with a clear, dark image like your card displays. I had a Connie Mack once and you could barely make out the person on the card.

R308's are very scarce. The one you have here is in the top 5% of photos I have seen. They are usually fairly washed out looking as Phil mentioned. The larger type 2's take the rarity to a whole nuther level....I have only seen 2-3 of the larger ones in 12 yrs of searching......Great looking card you have there...

I've only managed to get ahold of two so far-

I quit daily searching for them a while ago. They just come up so less frequently that a lot of T & E cards. I really like the fact that the image was part of the process. Some kid developed the card image & has passed it on down to me.

They're pretty unattractive plus most of them were "developed" when kids spit on them to bring the image up. A very large lot sold on ebay recently and I was amazed at how cheaply they sold considering their rarity. The R305s on the other hand are very nice looking, not as rare, but sell for more on ebay in nice condition.

I guess Leon was right...the registration on most of these are pretty poor at best. I looked at several on Ebay and all were washed out and not clear at all.....I am pretty happy with mine!
