One other neat item I just found that I kept. Looks to be a Montreal Royals team shot, measures 4.5" x 9.5". Some sort of team portrait handout I guess as it has not been cut from anywhere and the back is glossy. I think I see Shag Shaughnessy in the back...

Don't recall seeing that Ruth swinging image. Maybe someone else will. Not quite sure what to make of it either. My first thought is usually, is it cut from some kind of larger ad? It's really too big to be a regular card or Exhibit card.

The V94 OPC premiums from the same album measure 6.5 x 8.5, so the size seems like it would align with the other premium in the book issued in Canada. This is thicker than the V94s though. This was obviously a larger image but it doesn’t look heavily trimmed. I really have no idea what it is but regardless, I do like the image.

I've seen that image before on the cover of a book ...

Well now, based on the size and stock it could be a paper book cover. I wonder which book this one could be from.

The back and stock resemble the Quaker Oats card. Given that the book above has a Quaker Oats ad on the back and a matching pose photo, I wonder if this was from something Quaker Oats ad-related in Canada?

This photo had previously bugged me for years and I put it away for a while only to have it bug me again now. I just would love to know where the heck it came from - book cover, ad, poster, premium...

Hey Treasure, can you post a larger version of that picture? I (along with everyone else viewing this thread, I'm sure) really want to figure out what in heck is going on with that disappearing extremity.

Appears that the ballplayer seated far left may be missing his left leg??

Dark knee sock against the dark background of the bench and then tucked
Under the adjacent player’s outstretched leg.
