Default 1992 Pinnacle PSA 10 with rounded corners

Look especially at the back scan. What am I missing here?

It seems unlikely that someone would bother with cracking a case and swapping cards with something as common and inexpensive as a 92 Pinnacle Manny, but you never know. It could be that the card is loose in the slab, and banged around a bit. I've heard of that happening before.

It also appears to have some gunk on his jersey. This is weird.

Cards normally get edge wear in PSA holders, not corner wear.

Yeah no way is that from the holder.

Default modern cards with round corners

Some brands released cards that actually did occasionally come with slightly rounded corners from the
factory. 92 and 93 pinnacle, late 80's/early 90's donruss are a few I can think of off the top.

The Manny does look suspect but it's hard to tell until you see it in person.

Check out my round corner Jordan.

I'm wondering if the seller had two Mannys, one a 10 and one a 5, and took pictures of both of them. Then when making the listing grabbed the 10 front and 5 back....

Nothing suspect. I have the same card, and the corners are also rounded. It's sat in my binder since I opened the pack. Unfortunately, the centering is horrendous.

Here's another example of the Ramirez for sale on Ebay. Notice the corners are also rounded. The lower-right one, especially, is easy to see.

The buyer posted it on CU. He said in-hand it actually looks like the corners were factory rounded, meaning, they're all perfectly rounded. He also inspected the slab and said he found no signs of tampering.

And what of the gunk on the front, on his shirt?
