Default Bobby Moore PSA goofs again

I was looking through the PSA registry and noticed that once again, PSA listed an erroneous card.

1961/62 WS-Verlag Wanne Eickel Bobby Moore

No such cards exists!

Wanna Eickel is the town where the Verlag series were produced.
It's akin to calling the 1952 topps Mantle "Durea, PA Mantle".

Moore had no significant international accomplishment prior to 1962. Why would a German card be issued in 1961 ?

England, a prolific producer of domestic trading cards, didn't have Moore on its radar until after the 1962 World Cup. Issuing two mainstream cards for the 1962/63 season.

Too many slabbed PSA soccer cards are just plain wrong.

Don't be fooled by false PSA labeling.

Default Yep... watch out!

That said, there is the 1962 San Giorgio Calciatori di Turro il Mondo

of him... and it is legit a 1962 card...

SGC makes some errors on labels too.

1962 issues after the World Cup are genuine. 1961 - plain wrong.
