These are the actual 8x10 photos the card images were reproduced from, and came from the Exhibit Supply Company's owner. The athletes' names are painted on, and note that most of Ezzard Charles' trunks are painted. There is one known example of the Nagurski finished card.

I have many 1947-1949 original pictures that were used by the Bowman Gum Co.
for the early Bowman cards. And, I can display the pix and their associated cards.
Also, I have some pre-War pictures that I think were used for cards. But, I have
to do some searching to find them.

I own an original Roger Bresnahan photo taken by Charles Conlon which was the basis for one of the cards in the modern Conlon baseball card set.
