Default 1962 Jello Complete Set Break-up SET SOLD

Wanting to help my daughter buy a house. So decided break-up the 1962 Jell-O set and sell the cards the cards individually. I keep all my pictures on my iPad and do not know how to post individual pictures here on Net54 from that devise. So would be glad to send individual pictures of any cards via email or text that you might be interested in. Not going to immediately make a deal as want to make sure I can sell a decent number of the SP cards and not end up (for example) selling just eight cards and have a partial set of 189 left . So right now just trying to get a dialogue started with collectors to measure interest. If you are looking for cards that would get a PSA number, these would not be them. But given how tough these cards are to find and how few complete sets exist, believe them to be pretty desirable. Please contact me if you have any questions.

I do have contact information for some of the Jell-O collectors and will try to also sent out this information that way. Have a good day.

Just sent you and text and voice mail. I am a Cardinals collector and need 166 Curt Flood, 167 Curt Simmons, and 168 Alex Grammas to finish my team set.

Default Good luck with the sale Ken!

For a worthwhile cause. I would list the 12 cards I need, but I think you already know what they are, lol.

Default jello set

thanks guys. was truly intending to break set up as thought that would be best for me and the folks who are looking for just a few cards. but I got hit with an offer i could not even imagine going into this. so just had to switch gears and sell all at once. for what is it worth, buyer is a good guy and is a collector of these cards (as opposed to someone intending to try to immediately turn over the cards for nice profit).

Hi, Ken. I'm very late to respond, but I've been working hard. First, I am very, very sorry for you, bro, to have to make the tough decision to sell your beloved 1962 JELL-O complete set. Your reasoning was very good, understandable, and commendable. Your daughter will never forget your love to her and sacrifice. I am glad you have pictures of your Jell-Os on your I-Pad. At least you can always look at them with joy, self-respect, and no regret. For what it's worth, I am very, very proud of you.

Are you still going through with your proposed book on the '62 JELL-Os? I know it's a small niche market, as my book was. If you decide to go for completion, you will get yours out on paper at least, as you did your work on the 1962 Post Cereal Football. Let me know, since I promised you a portrait of my unfolded '62 JELL-Os of Mantle & Maris for your book.

I give you a strong brotherly hug, my friend. Or, as the Spanish salud goes: "un abraza, fuerte, fuerte".

Wishing all the best to you, Ken, as always. And thank you, for all that you've already done for us '62 JELL-O fans.

--Brian Powell
